This week's top Hearthstone custom cards skew to either side of the balance spectrum. A few are completely broken, a couple are unplayable, and one, well, let's just say that it already exists. We've also added some user submissions this week, so if you want to be included in the next roundup, make sure to send them our way!
People have long been creating custom cards for various card games. Hearthstone is no exception and you'll find examples of it throughout the Internet. Hubs like the CustomHearthstone subreddit which acts as a home for creators to come together and show off their ideas.
This is a place to share and discuss your cards and ideas for Hearthstone. We're home to a growing community and weekly card design competitions. If you love Hearthstone and game design, you've come to the right place!
Each week the Top 5 are gathered up and sent on over to the main Hearthstone subreddit for a much larger audience to see. And thanks to the awesome Hearthcards website, it's easy for anyone to create a high quality render of their card. So check out some of the ones below and give the system a shot. You can share your creations below in our comments or over on the subreddit.

Our Thoughts

  • Goldshire Defender - Despite being the best received custom cards this week. You're just looking at a reskinned Sludge Belcher. So it's good.
  • Oasis Nanny - Regardless of how well Murlocs synergize, it's hard to believe there will ever be a point where paying two mana for a Murloc Tinyfin is acceptable.

EDIT: A user has pointed out that it's basically just an upgraded Reinforce and is obviously good as a result. Guess this one just didn't click for me right away. Seems like it could be good.
  • Twister - Interesting that this scales depending on how many minions it will destroy. Our main concern here is that it rewards you for having nothing on the board, which your opponent can't really counter at all. Though it's easily a Freeze Mage's best friend, and it is ultimately useless in decks that like to have a board presence, it's probably too good.
  • Unminer -This is really cool! People don't often get to see some of the Uncollectible cards in the game, many of which you can find here (though not all are valid). Ashbringer stands out as one of the great possibilities, but keep in mind that there are also tokens like Spellbender, Imp, and Hyena.
  • SI:7 Depth Squad - Murloc Rogue, huh? This might be a bit too cheap given the nature of Murloc decks and how they focus on actually keeping themselves alive (aside from Thijs' OTK Murloc Paladin). Seems like it would be great, allowing you to clear minions and develop your board at the same time. Again, probably a bit overpowered given that fact.
