Somehow Hearthstone is already halfway through what will be its last full month in the Year of the Kraken. March is now coming to a conclusion and you likely have some climbing to do on the Ranked Ladder - we sure do - so we thought to be helpful and recommend a few of the best Hearthstone decks from March 2017!
Please note that we don't have a crystal ball so it's always possible that the meta could shift. In addition, these decks might not fit your playstyle and that's perfectly fine, but during our scouring of what was both fun and competitive, this is what we came up with.
The decline of the Pirate package has been rapid and that's partially due to Finja, the Flying Star. With space now open in the most aggressive of decks, a selection of five cards have found their way into many Aggro decks. We're of course talking about the aforementioned Finja, Murloc Warleader and Bluegill Warrior.
This set of cards does many of the same things that Small-Time Buccaneer and Patches the Pirate used to do including thinning your deck and more importantly, putting you ahead on the board at little cost to you.
While there are a variety of classes and decks that run the new Water package (Aggro Shaman, Pirate Warrior, etc) we chose this one as it's one of the unique ones that has proven its strength.
Renolock is always interesting in that it is tremendously flexible due to only running a single copy of any given card. Astrogation has made just those kind of adaptations in response to the new Water package going around.
The tech card? Stampeding Kodo.
Outside of that, it's your run-of-the-mill Renolock that you've come to know and love.
While Portia is likely playing on the Asia servers, meaning this deck isn't really optimized for the exact same meta, it seems strong and helped him reach Top 3 Legend.
March 2017 Card Back
Remember that you only have to reach Rank 20 to earn this month's card back, Year of the Kraken. It's the only way you'll be able to consistently show your love for the year that was!
