Today we bring you talk about the game's UI, why it is the way it is, and how it will be changing in the near future. UI Updates

@bdbrode will "show standard only cards" filter be added when standard format comes out?
@venom1950 lots of UI changes when Standard goes live.

@mxma101 Is there a ux-reason you guys settled on pages for deckslots instead of scrolling in the play-menu?
@EclipseHS page flip feels more physical and precise -It's easier to memorize position of a deck on page2 mid-right vs. scroll down two rows
@bdbrode pls change the collection back to show gold cards & regular ones together. So hard to know what cards you can de or need now.
@WoW_DMP that's the plan. Sorry about that

Game Updates

@bdbrode Will the mulligan phase ever see change? Just drawing the cards after both players click confirm would be good.
@tomaskrag yes, it's something we'd like to do

Standard vs. Wild Discussion

@bdbrode when I build a deck for past and future HS adventures, will I be building it Standard or Wild?

Lore

@bdbrode I know you guys are in a non-caniocal space, but is your artistic image of N'zoth how he'd be in WoW or is it independent of that?
@TarikAbdallah hard to say what N'Zoth would look like if it ever appears in WoW, but it's intended to be a canonical image of it, yes.
@bdbrode Did you have a lot of discussion w/the head Warcraft lore ppl regarding what N'Zoth might look like? Or just go w/your own ideas?
@Zaalbeth we collaborated a lot. One of the lead artists on WoW actually did the illustration for the HS card.

Old Gods Card Mechanics

.@bdbrode Suppose I'm playing Shaman at 3 health with Hallazeal out, and I play Hellfire (gotten from, say, Spellslinger). Do I die?

@bdbrode Hallazeal wording implies yes, I would die (as I would heal after the damage is dealt), but it'd be nice to get confirmation :)
@giffenaw nobody dies until everything finishes.

@SpartahnMusic Yes, you can totally Cabalist's Tomeception. Cabalist's Tome into three Cabalist's Tome: the DREAM!

@PlayHearthstone If you get the minion from the effect of Herald Volazj and you silence this minion. Do you get the full stats back?

@TwoBiers Yes, the stats go back to normal stats.
