Mid-game Combo Beastmaster

An acceptable hunter Beast-themed deck that revolves around using the Eaglehorn Bow and traps early-game to get to the mid-game where this deck starts to pick up steam, using the deck's many combos to finish the opponent off.

Card Notes (9)

Minions

  • Savannah Highmane x2 - Just pretty much the best beast there is now, comparable to a attack oriented Cairne Bloodhoof that synergizes with the deck. Essentially a 10/9 for 6 mana.
  • Scavenging Hyena x2 - Combo with snake trap for a nice big threat early game. Basically a heavy hitter or removal bait, which improve your tempo either way.
  • Starving Buzzard x2 - The only draw power of this deck, use sparingly.

Spells

  • Animal Companion x2 - All summons are great value for 3 mana, on turn 3 you can get a big taunt, a pig-missile, or just another meat shield. Overall good value
  • Explosive Trap x2 - Cheap early game removal against aggro decks, 'nuff said
  • Snake Trap - Good early game combo with buzzard against any class except mage for some card advantage, or bring in a Hyena after this procs. The added charge to the bow is also a plus.
  • Hunter's Mark x2 - Since this deck is mid-late game oriented, this card can be used to take down big minions with your AoEs or 1/1s
  • Misdirection - Can be played early game for a possible 2 for 1 when it redirects to another minion, or used late-game to make a big minion hit its master
