Having played this deck a few times, I really love it! My favourite moment was Mind Controling a Healing Totem from a shaman :)

For further customisation, I think Lightwell, Acolyte of Pain and Emperor Cobra would be suited to this deck.

I just got into the 2nd wave of the beta, post wipe, and I've been using this deck.

After 2 days in the beta I have over 100 wins and a 2 star master rating.

I love being able to destroy people who have a stacked deck of legendary cards, thinking that's what it takes to win. The only weakness I've found is the 4 attack minions. I've been stuck with 2 shadow word pain and 2 shadow word death in my hand facing an army of 4 attack minions praying I draw a holy nova! Sometimes it really is luck of the draw.

Overall a great deck to get your feet wet and to really learn strategy in card games.

Wow this is a really nice deck! Thanks so much for this. :) So far it's been very effective for me, I'm winning the vast majority of my matches with it. I've only played against one other priest so far that was using this deck. That one wasn't a very fun match-up, very slow actually and then a little frustrating in the late game, but other than that this deck has been fun and effective.

This deck is incredibly strong. Well done. I've swapped out Chillwind Yeti with Ogre Magi. Mid game the +1 spell damage can make a huge difference with cards like Holy Nova and Holy Smite.

You might as well replace the crocs with amani's since they have the same stats and you could potentially attack for 5 then heal back to a 2/3 just like a croc. Great looking deck, I'll be trying it out.

I must say, bravo for this deck, i admit i am horrible at this game and could not get past silver, but with this deck i got to diamond in one day, undefeated, this deck is AMAZING anyone who thinks they are bad, try this deck, you will improve a ton

Just made up this deck and played a couple quick games. It is ridiculously good. Only change I made was to swap the Chillwind Yeti with 2 Lightspawns, which are one of my few good cards. I've never had such solid victories with any deck. Getting Mind Control around the time a foe is getting his best critters out is hilariously good. I spent an entire turn cackling watching a Paladin summon and buff something up to 18/9 then took it over just to have on my side when I finished him off with other things.

This deck is amazing. I just started using it and I've won 5 of 6 games. I only lost to a Warrior because of a dumb mistake I made. Two of the games the other player conceded in frustration after I hit 5+ card draws in one turn with a Darkscale Healer, Cleric, and some damaged minions.

I have gone 31-2 so far with this deck using amani berserkers and ogre magi as replacements. Many opponents have given up. It feels like cheating, but it is an amazing deck, and I love to win!

I have used this deck since I recently started beta and i have to say it is awesome! It has a lot of flexibility and ive learned a lot about building decks from this one. I have about 3-4 variations of this deck that I use and I win at least 75% of my matches.

A great deck and guide! Perfect for those still collecting most of the expert cards. One thing to be wary of, sometimes the draw is so effective you need to keep an eye on the cards left in your deck. I recently accidentally fatigued myself with a double Northshire Cleric + Darkscale Healer play! Not quite what was planned..

Love this deck but made a few improvements of my own. Added more 4 damage cards in particular so I'm less vulnerable to other priests (all I seem to meet). I alternate between Ogre Magi and Spellbreakers depending on the amount of priests I see playing in ranked.

The first time I use this deck (With Chillwind Yeti swapped with Ogre Magi and Croc swapped with Amani Beserker) I go 2 - 0.

So for now I'm quite satisfied, and want to continue my quest with annoying people with a priest deck.

Is this build any good still, I'm seeing a lot of new Priests but they have Inner Fire, Lightwell and the one that doubles health in it too, is that a new Priest build because that one is impossible to beat.

Is it just me or is this deck especially (or only) weak against Paladins (especially those who focus on divine shield)
Because I've lost 2 out of the 13 games i've played with this deck (replaced a gnomish engineer with wild pyromancer, added a lightwarden) and they were both against a Paladin. The games lasted untill the last card was drawn, and the paladin outlasted me both times... the second paladin had a divine shield deck and dominated early game.

Any play tips against these dewds?

Thanks man ! Currently using this deck, it's awesome, I've got everything, minions, spells , though sometimes I can only do something in the 3rd-4th round cause of bad draw, but still. I usually get to ~20 hp, opponent still @ 30 and I can still win. This deck = pure awesomeness.

So far with this deck I have achieved three-star Diamond with a 80%+ win rate after following the comment suggestions of replacing the Croc's and Yeti's with the Amani Berserker's and Ogre Magi's. The rate of league promotions has slowed down the more I become promoted, but that isn't because of a drop in my win percentage at all. There is no doubt in my mind that I can get Masters+ if I continue to play with this deck. Thanks for sharing the deck; it is a BEAST!

This deck seems so good so far! I've won 3/3 games so far, and it is showing very promising yet hilarious plays. By this I mean when I was playing against a mage, he played hogger, I mc'ed it. But then, when I had huge board presence, he whipped out deathwing. What did I do then? Shadow word death it of course!

I think this idea works well with Priest and you can build the strength easily when you get rearer cards. It may not be as effective and idea with other classes.

Really solid basic deck for priest. It's what I based my priest deck off to get to Diamond 1-star. Fun to play as well with all the +draws. Not too reliant on one strategy either (other than of course to draw lots of cards and heal!) Well written strategy guide, and an easy to understand approach. This should be a template for those looking to create a decent deck guide.

I've used this deck personally and found it extremely effective. This deck is a great base and adding some modifications when you increase your collection would augment this deck perfectly.(Such as Amani Berserker instead of River Crocolisk, for a bit more power and defense Lord of the Arena, and if you're lucky in your drops, Prophet Velen will add a major boost to any spells you have!)

Really good deck, just survived getting pyroblasted twice with it lol. Also I replaced one of the crocos with a harvest golem, in that way you get an extra minion when it dies. :) (I've also replaced the yetis for an Azure Drake and Ogre Magi and then another croco for an Amani Berserker).

Amazing Build. Great for beginners and shows that even with basic cards you can rise to master ranks. Plus it doesn't use the two broken priest cards: Inner Fire and Divine Spirit.

First of all I want to say that this deck is amazing! The only customization that I have made was swapping the River Crocolisk for Amani Berserker, which combined with PW:Shield and then damaging the troll is so sweet :)

However I wonder how can I improve this deck? I mean swapping the basic cards for something more powerful without changing the original idea of the deck ? Basicly simple upgrade, not changing the "meta" of the deck :D

What would you do to counter the Shaman's Murlock + Totems spam + Bloodlust and the Paladin low cost minions spam ?

Ugh this deck is so un-fun to play against I just find it annoying when there are clearly new players playing in masters because this deck carried them. While it is beatable, it requires the right decks and some decks it can just be outright impossible no matter how bad the opponent is. I really hope blizz fixes priests /rant

I was skeptical when seeing this deck build. But it is highly recommended!

After seeing it's power beyond level 10(Mind Control), i am convinced that priest will be nerfed in the next build.
This setup is just too powerful, unless you have really bad luck with the draws, you will beat almost anyone.

In the last few hours, I have won over 80% of my ranked battles, the last four have conceded when they were at ~5hp with 0 minions, and me at 25-30 with 2-4+ minions out...

Great deck! I added Injured Blademaster for grins to my deck. I know it breaks the spirit of a basic-only deck but I couldn't resist. At three mana, you get something to immediately heal.

Just thought I'd add my feedback to this. I'm a career warlock player and naturally this was the first deck I tried but the Priest build that you have here is very good too.

I was missing a few of the minions so I added the twilight drake. This lent itself well to the card heavy hand and Inner Fire inclusion too.

There's a possibility of using Shattered Sun Cleric to buff up the opponents 4 attack minions so that you can clear them out with Shadow Word Death. It's a little risky to do it before turn 6, but late game you can do this to remove those Druid of the Claw, Goblin Auctioneer, Ysera, Twilight Drake, Sunwalker, and Malygos.

You can think of it kind of like killing low HP minions with Inner Rage or Cruel Taskmaster in a Warrior deck. Same principal, but you're using more cards and mana.

Just wanted to comment on how awesome this deck is. I haven't played ranked matches yet, but this deck has allowed me to have several long win streaks. I have had so many people just leave the game with around 20 health while my player is at full and I have the board stacked with taunts and clerics. I've even come back from 1 hp to take a win with this deck. This thing is fantastic.

This deck, with minor changes, has worked wonders over the past few weeks. However with the recent patch, a few of the minions/spells in it have been changed. Sun cleric is now a 3/2 minion, but I haven't tried it out yet, so I'm not sure whether that will stay in the deck...but Mind Control is now 10 mana, which for me means I would rather replace it. I have rag and ysera, as well as the Priest legendary...Thoughts on what to replace MC with?

I've found this deck to still be very effective in the current meta, even in ranked (I'm on a 5-0 win streak at 17, which is a lot better than I had been doing with decks constructed around shadow tactics and other rare cards.) The +2 mana on Mind Control has barely weakened this deck. I've added in a Holy Fire for minion removal and self heals, as well as a few different cards suggested in the comments (Amani Berserker, Ogre Magi - the Magi is surprisingly obnoxious when coupled with Holy Nova or Holy Smite mid-game). The only thing I've had problems with so far is a warrior who was packing two Gorehowl cards (and he came very close to losing actually), so I would suggest sneaking a few Oozes in there for extra measure against weapon-based decks.

This deck doesn't work anymore in no-ranked, even in ranked until rank ~20.

Edit : Before updates it was working wonderfuly, at low lvls.
Now my Priest deck is lvl 30 and it's not working anymore against opponants of the same lvl.
You'll need some Crafted / Expert cards like Lightwells combined with Divine spirit and Inner fire. This also work great with Lightspawns and Mogu'shan warden as a good low cost taunt.

I am currently around rank 19-18 with this deck (I'm still a beginner in this game, getting better).
I have made some changes to the deck :

Did that mainly because of the drawing power which allows me to Mountain Giant for very little cost as well as the way Lightspawn synchronises with Temple Enforcer and Power Word: Shield.
Still, I find myself very, very vulnerable to 4 damage minions. Have any suggestions that I should change to my deck?

I tried this build straight out of the box attempting to just out draw them. Often times RNJesus is not on my side but with this build that doesn't matter so much. I'm far from a good player and my experience is lacking but I have just gotten to rank 20 (from 25) without losing a game and went 18-2 in casual.

The only time I have trouble is against mages, their insane board control and AOE spells take their toll but more often than not you can out last them and wear them out. (watch out for Pyroblast though). If anyone has any suggestions on how to play against mages that would be awesome.

My Strategy

Basically the strategy I used was to play extremely defensive. I try and last until round 5 (When I go first) or 4 (When I get the coin) and reset the board with a Holy Nova. It's around round 5 where Murloc builds, Swarm builds etc really start hurting and they all have low enough HP to wipe out all of them. Don't be afraid to take some extra damage, just heal through with the hero ability. If you are worried about the damage try and pick them off with a smite or SW:P, however I recommend saving the SW:P for minions with high HP.

After the holy nova you should have close to a full hand so start playing some minions and grind them to death. you wont get any big hitters in this build but the damage is extremely consistent and with your healing your minions will have the advantage.

I never got any wins before round 10 (excluding concedes) but at that point you should have complete control of the game with your Mind Control.

Summary

By far the best deck I have tried.
"Survive" until round 5, then Holy Nova.
"Distract" them with minions while you draw more cards up until round 10.
"Control" the game from there with selective Mind Controls on their hard hitting minions.

I just played this deck in a few constructed games, and I must say it is quite powerful! I already had some amazing plays with it, such as damaging three minions and my Northshire Cleric and then using Darkscale Healer to draw 4 cards, then using Mind Vision (I subsituted Mind Control for this because I didn't unlock it yet) to steal the enemy Paladin's Truesilver Champion. Needless to say, he conceded next turn :)

Btw, are there any cards from expert packs which I should look out for to improve the deck? Just swapped a gnomish inventor for a defender of argus. Was that a good choice? Also swapped the 2 darkscale healers for a venture co mercenary and a gadgetzan auctioneer.

It is a really nice deck, thx for the help, but i struggle againt pyroblast mages and murlock decks if i don't get consecration in the first 5 round. As a starter (i got beta key on dec 10) i reched lvl 18 in ranked plays, so it's amazing (my winning rate is above 50%). This deck is really powerful.

I made an account just to say thank you for such a solid deck, I have made minor modifications and have seen very high winrates.

I changed the River Crocolisks to Amani Berserkers, one of the Chillwind Yetis to a Twilight Drake, one of the Gnomish Inventors to an Azure Drake and one of the Darkscale Healers to a Gadgetzan Auctioneer. A decent change in my opinion, if you have the cards.

The Deck is fine, but I would replace Crocolisk and Ironfur Grizzly for something better. (Croco is mostly a hunter-card and Ironfur Grizzly usually trades with only 1 card (2mana drop I mean), which makes him bad)

At the moment, you'll hit SO many murloc Warlock decks that will destroy this, it's effectively obsolete for now. This deck ruled a few months ago, but now it looks like I'll have to find a new Priest build.

Works great been using it since i started playing hearthstone a few days ago. I've opened a few packed and gotten 2x Acolyte of Pain and 2x Injured Blademaster and was wondering how you would recommend these cards as they seem to be pretty good for the priests ability.

I was thinking of replacing:
Gnomish Inventor with Acolyte of Pain or would replacing the Novice Engineer be better?
and
Ironfur Grizzly with Injured Blademaster
are these replacements optimal or is there something better to replace?

What do you all think about adding/removing the following? I love this deck, but at rank 18 I just get absolutely destroyed more often than not. I really want to keep this deck because it's so much fun, but I can't be competitive with it in the current meta I'm finding. Any help, thoughts, comments are more than welcome!

The additions/subtractions are:

Acolyte of pain for the Novice Engineer

The idea being that he may cost one more mana, but in return you may get more than one card

Demolisher and Lightwell for the River Crocolisk

Lightwell can work well with the Northshire Cleric and just overall as well, especially in the early game. The Demolisher allows you to potentially remove those low health minions without having to sacrifice any of your own.

Injured Blademaster and Lightspawn for the Gnomish Inventor

If Northshire Cleric is up, for 5 mana you can play the card and heal him up which gives you a card and a 4/5 while doing it. The Lightspawn can be healed up to aid in card draw and can be used in conjuction with Divine Spirit to buff its health and damage. May be worth re-working a bit to add 2 of these in the deck, but once they are silenced they lose their usefulness.

Dark Iron Dwarf for the Chillwind Yeti

he gives you a 4/4 instead of a 4/5 but giving a minion +2 attack can help you with board control.

Addition of Divine Spirit for 1 Mind Control

Divine Spirit can work with many cards, in particular your Lightwell and Lightspawn. With a Northshire Cleric up it can be really beneficial. I get that their mana costs are nowhere near each other, but I haven't found mind control to be entirely helpful lately with it's 10 mana cost...perhaps it's worth it to keep one in here though

Addition of Faceless Manipulator for 1 Mind Control

Only 5 mana and if used near the latter turns, will also allow you to play other cards. For example if you are on turn 8, or turn 7 with the coin, you can faceless manip something with 5+ attack and then use Shadow Word Death to get it off the board...still two mana less than Mind Control

This a really guide basic guide but I changed 3-4 cards. I didn't take the grizzly and the darkscale healer into my deck. I choose instead of them the defender of argust and raknarok. So I increased my win rate up to 80 % :-)

Awesome deck. thanks. I change out a Mind Control for a Temple Enforcer. You don't really need 2 MCs in this deck. If you get to that point you've either won or lost. I also love the Inner Fire Mogu'shan Warden combo. Sure it's a big fat target for removal but if it lives, your opponent is toast.

I've got two of Lightwarden in my small collection, this card seems to have a potential but there is no spot in the deck for it especially in (1) and (2) cards. What do you think?

I subbed out a MC for a Holy Fire just for some later game heals.

Went from r24 to r18 without losing once using this deck. Gonna try subbing out a croc or yeti for ogre magi/amani just to see how it goes based on what people have said.

Really, really happy with it. Dominating friends so far as well.

Great Beginner Deck! I just started playing Ranked and had a 14 Game win streak with this deck! It gets really powerful later in the game when you are playing multiple cards a turn. I can't wait to start earning new cards to add to it! Suggestions Welcome for how to grow this deck.

I disagree with this deck. It's gimmick can still win games, but there are so many cards and mirror matches that kill you especially if you get horrible hands from the large amount of 4+ cards really cripple the deck hard. The current meta seems to favor low costs more as I keep drawing two useless cards like mind control and shadow word deaths that are ^&*!ing useless until very late game. I get these cards every single time and unlike a pally or shammy, I have NOTHING to counter early game rush.

Very incompatible deck right now and gave me a horrible losing streak from rank 14 and pushed me back to 16. It's great when you can combo but only if you can combo.

I have to dislike this one only because it's really bad. No way to win against decks with better power creep and I will argue against anyone on this.

And gnomish inventor is horrible now compared to other early game 2-costs. In any situation, even if your mining for cards.

This deck, with some modifications has gotten me to about 15...and then the slide back to 17 started. Just like many decks, this gets owned by good control. I find myself hardly getting the chance to use Northshire Cleric, either because of poor draw or immediate clear. I get more value out of Acolyte of Pain, usually good for two draws each early in the game.

I see two primary goals of this deck, heavy draw and early control. I often find myself making it very late into the game, without many damage options left. I've even decked myself a few times.

I've been retooling things a bit, but no amazing results yet...

Just got to rank 13 with a modified version of this deck. Some thoughts:

-Don't play anything on turn one if you are going first. Unless you add some other 1-drops, just don't. All of the 1-mana cards in this deck are way more valuable later in the game.

-Your early game should be focused on surviving and setting up a situation where your card engine can be put in place safely.

-In my opinion, this means that your early game should be focused on drawing a lot of cards by means OTHER than Northshire Cleric. I would dump my entire starting hand if it didn't have at least one Novice Engineer (or whatever you replace it with).

-Don't be afraid to "waste" minions' abilities! If your board is empty and you sorely need a minion down, but the only minion you have in your hand is a Darkscale Healer, for God's sake, play it!

My philosophy for upgrading this deck:
This deck has a great balance -- the right amount of removal, the right amount of taunt, the right amount of draw. Whatever cards you replace, try to preserve this balance.

These are the cards I took out:

As you see, so far I've basically only messed with the minions. These substitutions definitely aren't perfect and I would like to pair some of them up, but I'm just adding what I have. These substitutions definitely have some drawbacks. Because I've taken out high-health minions that don't have abilities, and put in low-health ones with abilities, I don't have as many good heal targets, especially early in the game, making the deck even weaker in the early game -- watch out! This is somewhat mitigated by the fact that I have better draw capabilites, so I rely on Northshire Cleric less for draw, and the fact that I've replaced Mind Control with a minion, giving me another potential heal target. The substitutions pack some nasty surprises for your opponent, and I feel the pros outweigh the cons.

I feel that you should secure the win in the mid-game. Cabal Shadow Priest can really turn the situation around on turn 6. This deck lacks good offensive weapons to hang in the late game, and the lack of mind control makes the situation worse. If you let your opponent maintain decent position into the late game, you'll run out of ways to damage him and deck yourself. It's a balancing act between holding back during the early game to set yourself up for the mid game, and not letting the game go so long that you run out of cards.

It's all about knowing your own deck and knowing what to expect out of your opponents.

Ok, i am pbbly first person who will tell that this deck is a crap. Or I am moron playing it... or problem is that at rank 16 i started to meet ppl with legendary cards (usually in golden version:) ) and this deck has really small chance of beating them, even i upgraded it (added lightwardens and swapped yeti for azure drakes).

This deck is the BOMB! I beat all Expert AI in the first try.
The whole trick is to get all their minions off the table. At 10+ mana, wait for them to get a high card on the table and steal it with Mind Control.
I too recommend swaping River Crocolisk for Amani Berserker, it helps sometimes.
This strategy cannot fail against expert AI, I didn't tried it yet vs real players, will begin this tommorow.

I have been using this deck all day and it's kicking people's asses. I went from a 50% win rate to winning 12 of my last 14. It's moved me from rank 25 to rank 18 in that time.

I have played against 3 other folks running this deck and had no problem beating them. Most people try to go all in too fast with this deck. The longer the game goes the strong this deck is. It will outlast and outdraw any basic deck and plenty of other decks that people have put their time/money into getting better cards.

I'm sure I'll eventually run into the wall where upgrading this basic deck is necessary, but for now it's whomping on people who pull out full on rare-legendary cards. So much fun stealing that 10/7 buffed legendary minion that just got played. Sorry man, my free basic card says you gotta hand him over.

Hello! I would like to say that your deck has always given me great results and that it was a huge help when I started playing against all those already stacked decks out there.
As I see you're having trouble replacing Ironfur Grizzly I'd like to suggest Emperor Cobra.
There's a nice change to the deck with some rares (tho also increasing the overall cost of the deck by 1) that would be
River Crocolisk - > Sunfury Protector
Ironfur Grizzly - > Emperor Cobra
Shattered Sun Cleric - > Defender of Argus
Ogre Magi (maybe keeping one because of the holy nova cost) - > Azure Drake
Boulderfist Ogre (again, maybe keeping one) - > Temple enforcer try to keep the buffed minions by Argus/Protector

I'd really appreacciate some feedback since I haven't had the chance to test this because of my lack of cards yet

Great deck!

Just finished a game against a paladin. Thanks to the cards i could take whatever he threw at me, and at the same time get cards from the cleric, and then the spell dammage from the ogre made my holy nova so powerfull it wiped his entire board.

I'm a beginner and this deck won me 75% of the games I play with it. I replaced one PW: Shield and a Croc with 1x Lightwell and 1x Lightwarden which I lucked out on from gold-bought packs, then tried out Ranked. I made it from Rank 25-20 without dropping any games. Most games weren't even close, even against other Priests.

The deck is really strong mid-game, deals with most threats easily and is easily my favorite deck. Thanks for the guide!

The strategy explanation was useful, although I had to make a few personal changes / upgrades (imo upgrades anyway).

Namedly I susbstituted the ogres for lava giants. The reason being, this kind of decks take a few turns to start going, and I find myself struggling not to die.

That way the lava giants act like a "fuse" when things go wrong. The strategy explanations were very useful as well. I appreciate submissions like this one with a full "instruction booklet" so to speak.

Budget replacements for the new form. Almost all replacements are straight upgrades; if they aren't I'll try to explain the change:

- River Crocolisk -> Amani Berserker or Sunfury Protector (the latter only if you face a lot of aggro decks in the ladder).

- Ogre Magi -> Azure Drake.

- Ironfur Grizzly -> x1 Blood Knight; x1 Big Game Hunter. The Blood Knight is for dealing with Divine Shields (the reason why Ironforge Rifleman was once in the deck); the Big Game Hunter is for dealing with big legendaries (in my experience, the two Shadow Word: Death are usually not enough).

- Boulderfist Ogre -> Temple Enforcer. The -1 health doesn't matter too much turn 6 and beyond, even when behind (mages can still deal with it in one turn, for example) and the bonus health it provides to another minion can be extremely helpful.

- Darkscale Healer -> x1 Faceless Manipulator; x1 Mind Control. Probably most controversial change, and I can see why: the Darkscales are there mainly for the heal and card draw they provide when combined with a Northshire Cleric. However, when going on a budget, consistency and power are more important than the best case scenario. Mind Control steals a legendary, Faceless Manipulator copies a legendary and can be combined with Big Game Hunter/Shadow Word: Death to reverse the board advantage. Besides, we have Azure Drakes for consistent card draw.

- Eventually, I'd replace Temple Enforcer with two late game legendaries. Cairne Bloodhoof, Ragnaros The Firelord or Ysera are good candidates, although you may also consider The Black Knight or even Sylvanas Windrunner.

Not sure how this deck is good, I cant ever seem to use Northshire clerics card draw as I can never get any temp going or board control seeing as every game I have played every creature I play is killed or the enemy drops stronger creatures and just kills them.

If I was playing decks that were also basic, it might be good. I am rank 19 and this deck is just losing non-stop.

This is such a wonderful deck. Easy to use, easy to set up, and a total killer. This deck can take down some much more advanced/rarer card decks with little trouble.

My favourite part? If the fight drags on thill 10 mana(which isn't always the case in this deck) and you see the enemy just spend all their mana really buffing a single monster to really insane stats, hoping you'll tremble in your boots and he can one or two shot you to death. And then, -bam- mindcontrol. Click your character and go 'Thank you!' =p

Wow. This is an amazing deck. I just started playing constructed, and I haven't lost yet. OP's analysis of the cards is awesome too.

I made a few changes:

I replaced Ogre Magi (2x) with Gurubashi Berserker (2+. This deck only has two spells that count for damage (Holy Nova and Holy Smite), so the spell damage bump isn't as helpful as it appears. I would only play Ogre Magi right before playing a spell; but once I had enough mana for that kind of combo, many of the enemy's minions way over 3hp (and weren't effected much). I was better off using something like mind control or shadow words. Gurubashi Berserker takes damage well and gives more damage the longer it lives (which is pretty long if you've got the mana to heal it)—it's a survivor.
I removed Ironfur Grizzly (2x) . A +3/+3 would just die too easily without buffs…especially as a taunt.
I removed Darkscale Healer (2x) too. This card is most useful when Northshire Cleric is in play, but I just couldn't get that combination going—I needed something more aggressive by that point. (Holy nova, for example.) I'm thinking about putting this card back, though.
I added Mind Control (2x). Oh man, this ruins people's day at round 10. I've captured a few legendaries so far. I've even had Mind Control fights with other priests over high value minions. Lots of fun. :)
Last but not least, I replaced one of the Boulderfist Ogres with Maexxna. Yes. One hit kills to everything. I love this card, so let's play the hell out of it until it gets nerfed.

There are also a few tricks to playing this deck. This deck is all about controlling tempo, and you can only control the tempo if you pace yourself. Play a few minions, see how they react, punish their mistakes. Don't feel required to play every single mana crystal every turn. You don't need to. You set the tempo: you set the pace. If you don't pace yourself, you risk burning too many (useful) cards too soon, and you'll be out of luck. In a way, Mind Control forces you to set the pace in important ways—you'll only be able to play it around the time when those large minions are on their way.

Copied and played a game against a warrior.

He had Grommash, Ysera, Sylvanas, Baron Geddon, Harrison Jones, Loatheb, and The Black Knight.

He had all those legendaries along with fiery waraxe and death's bite. He also had shield block, slam, brawl and shield slam x2. Those Swamp Ooze x2 shut him down. I managed to mind control his sylvanas and it took his armor smith. I had 30+ 4 armor and won with him at 3 hp. This was a very fun game for me.

This is a nice deck for all basic cards.

the 1 extra mind control becuz some people have very strong normal cards bur legendary's too, end becuz its kinda weird to use 1 yeti for 1 whole deck.

Replace both boulderfist ogre with 2 Temple Enforcer, just 1 health less and +3 health to minon.

Even though this wasn't updated for a really long time, it's still a pretty good deck. 100% usable if you just plan to rank up to twelve-ish rank to get your card back. Can go even further with some substitutions.

Хорошая колода, равно как и гайд Шенга. По нему обновляю карты. С первого раза поубивал боссов в Чумном Квартале, хотя честно говоря, не ожидал, что будет так просто (особенно споры против Лотхиба). В ладдере пока до 14 ранга дошёл, но может мета позволит и повыше подняться.

Best priest deck I've ever had. I like to toss an Acolyte of Pain to pair up with a Cleric in case I need to damage and heal it to get some cards.
