Late-game beginner play (0-5 rare)
This is certainly not close to a top tier deck, but it has worked well so far vs most heroes (Warriors and Hunters being the hardest). The idea here is to clear enemy minions with spells and burners like Wolfrider, to later build up with minions like Azure Drake, Auctioneer and Violet teacher combined with boosted spells. You have so many options for control that it should be fairly simple to clear opposing threats efficiently. Don't be afraid to lose health, as you want to build up pressure for later in the game.
Save the Geomancer to combine with Azure Drake for powerful bursts.
Water elemental/Cone of Cold->Ice Lance is great to deal damage to heroes or high-mana minions.
While having Auctioneer up, use the Apprentice to throw out cheap spells.
Use the Mercenary to force big spells or minions from the enemy.
Mirror Image to protect your spell boosters or hero if needed.
