Warlock Rushdown Deck II - Electric Boogaloo

A warlock deck, with a few gimmicks involved, updated to the new patch!

The purpose of this deck is to beat the snot out of the other combatant, before he or she has a chance to react properly, and to make good use of Ancient Watchers, one of the most under-appreciated cards in the game.

Please do keep in mind, that as with all rushdown decks, if the initial barrage fails, you are utterly screwed, and there's not much you can do to regain control of the game afterwards. You will not get to 3 Master with this. You have been warned.

Hero Power

  • Life Tap - This is what will allow us to not suck at rushing the opponent down. The whole reason we picked Warlock, essentially.

Minions

  • Ancient Watcher x2 - Let's be honest here. Ancient Watchers, by themselves, are entirely useless. However, coupled with a Defender of Argus, they become formidable Taunt barriers for only 2 cost.
  • Blood Imp x2 - Cheap. Cost-efficient. Makes everything ELSE more valuable!
  • Defender of Argus x2 - You may have noticed the deck has no Taunt creatures in it. That's because we're going to make use of Defenders of Argus.
  • Imp Master x2 - Great value in a deck like this; endless Sacrificial Pact fodder, good board presence.
  • Ironbeak Owl x2 - Silence is essential.
  • Knife Juggler x2 - Knife Jugglers are great value; each time your minioncount goes up, it tosses a knife. Toss two out with two Imp Masters, and hilarity ensues.
  • Pit Lord x2 - Pit Lords are our midgame, essentially. The damage is not negligible by any stretch of the imagination, but that's what we have Sacrificial Pacts for.
  • Raid Leader x2 - Our Stormwind Champion replacement. Valuable, as it makes everything else more valuable.
  • Succubus x2 - One of the most cost efficient creatures in the game, although cross your fingers to not lose anything important. NEVER play this card, if you have anything you crucially need. RNG WILL screw you over.

Spells

  • Demonfire x2 - Demonfire, AKA how to make your Succubus not suck mid/late. Alternatively, removal. A flexible card.
  • Mortal Coil x2 - 1-damage removal, and card draw in one. What's there not to like?
  • Sacrificial Pact x2 - This is here, so we can recover the health from the Pit Lord. Use on Imp Master Imps!
  • Sense Demons x2 - We need card draw. Badly. With two Sense Demons...s... 4/6 of our Demons are guaranteed in our hand. If you get it.
  • Shadow Bolt x2 - Really cost-efficient removal. Always good!
  • Shadowflame x2 - Ancient Watchers and Succubi can both be used to proc Shadowflame to great effect. Amazing, if situational board clear.
