The heal is therefore only useful if you are already damaged.
8 damage + 4 hero HP is really too strong for a 4-crystal card.
Overall potential of Truesilver Champion is to deal 8 damage and heal 4 health for a mere 4 mana. It is usually able to kill 2 minions, generating a 1-for-2 card advantage. As such, this is an excellent card in the arena. Almost always draft Truesilver Champion unless you already have 4 of it or something.
The heal effect occurs

Truesilver Champion heals the owner twice if the attack is redirected by

Bug - Still exists as of 16 Jan 2014 patch:
If you attack with a Truesilver Champion into an
, the trap will trigger first, dealing 2 damage to you, followed by the Truesilver Champion healing you for 2. If the Explosive Trap brought you to or below 0 health, you will not die and be brought back to above 0 health. The attack is then cancelled, and 1 durability is deducted from the Truesilver Champion. If it still has 1 durability left, the game allows you to attack with it again, healing another 2 health before the weapon destroys itself. Basically, you used 1 durability charge to trigger Explosive Trap.
This card is ridiculously good for a common. This is a MUST in any paladin deck. 4 damage + two health for four mana?
Is this card broken? I'm not getting any HP on attack (either before or after). And yes, my hero was damaged...
EDIT: NM I wasn't paying attention, the healing is applied before the attack.
This weapon is a must in any Paladin Deck and is a windmill slam in any Arena pick; meaning it is an automatic draft no matter what it is up against. I draft as many as it wants to offer me.
It is the best direct removal for a class that doesn't get great direct removal (Paladin pays 4 to deal 3 damage for example) and is objectively one of the best weapons in the game if not the best. 4 mana 4/2 is just such a great curve to be at since it's damage is almost always relevant on curve and rarely wasted. In comparison Warrior's 5 for 5/2 comes a turn later and you so commonly lose value on the damage.
The fact that it heals you is completely bonus and honestly they could have removed it for balancing sake and this weapon would still be the premium pick for Paladin.
80%+ of paladin decks contain this deck (according to Hearthhead decklists).
While 'Truesilver' sounds better,
is actually the one that heals you in WoW.
only gave you a shield.

Tooltip language appears to be based on "Weird Al" Yankovic's song "Mr. Popeil," which is about infomercial products.
Fun bug: if a hero somehow manage to lost a target during attack, the sword will heal the hero, but durability wouldn't decrease.
