Enemy murloc gets killed and you have 3/4 minion on the board for only 1 mana cost. That sounds great. The question is, are murlocs popular enough to make this card useful? You can use this effect on your weak murloc too but that is not much effective I think.

The value of this card relies on whether or not there's a Murloc on the board when you play it. If there isn't, you get a 1/2 for 1 mana, which isn't a complete waste. If there is, you get a 3/4 for only 1 mana, but you have to destroy a Murloc.

While destroying an enemy Murloc is a great bonus, if this battlecry is like other cards', you won't have the option of not destroying a Murloc if there is one on the board. This means that it you have the only Murloc on the board, you will have no choice but to destroy it to feed the crab (if you decide to play the card, that is).

This makes this card highly situational. Played against an enemy Murloc, it's an incredibly powerful play, a 3/4 minion plus instant destruction of an enemy Murloc for only 1 mana. A great choice for defence against a Murloc deck.

This card is now a lot better than it once was due to the high presence of murloc knight. This kills it cleanly, and very likely will kill whatever the murloc knight called. That's a decent tech card, and worse case senario, you got another one-drop. That's not THAT awful. So if you are having trouble with murloc knight, why not try hungry crab?
