Last I checked, its either bugged or now designed as a helping card. When played on a minion, that minion will not die this turn. until its fixed, or changed, do not play it on your opponents minion. it will not die.
Love how you can down a tank with this card!

Ridiculously overpowered for a free, gray quality card.
great card for taking something down that else might have costed you several minions or higher cost cards.
though all by itself it wont kill a thing and needs to be combined with something else to enjoy it's effect.
personally i love this card too get rid of a taunt or a big legendary by resetting its Health too 1 and then either finishing it with
or when summoning
Unleash the Hounds
and use a hound too finish they target of which was reset too 1.
something i noticed works also really well is when you got
and you reset the one with higher then 5 hp too 1 (if its next too it ofcourse) and then blow it with the adjecent damage of
I just love puting this on a priests Lightspawn!Enjoy that 1/1 buddy =) Funny thing is they will try to heal it most of the time wasting some more mana, since its max hp is 1 now...
Hunter's Mark is a good counter to enemy minions that need to take damage to activate an effect. It can render Enrage effects completely useless, put a quick stop to
if you don't have the early-game power to kill it, and make sure that your opponent only gets one card out of
Acolyte of Pain
instead of the potential three.
And of course, if your opponent drops something big- even legendary- you can have the pleasure of taking it out with a
Combos well with
as a 2 mana, 2 card targeted removal. Just watch to make sure you don't nuke your own field.
love using this in combination with Unleash the Hounds.
As it states,
will silence the effect of
before dealing its damage, so it's an effective counter if one doesn't mind losing the minion's text to gain the lost HP-1.
As others have mentioned, there are ways to counter this spell. Since it is a 0 mana spell,
use it only when you can follow up with killing the minion in the same turn
. There is really little reason to risk your opponent reversing the effects of the spell.
Comparable to a Priest's Silence, as they're both situational soft removal for 0 cost. Silence is better for dealing with heavily-entrenched utility minions like a Gadgetzan Auctioneer or Acolyte of Pain hidden behind a wall of taunts. This card is better at dealing with beefy minions that would normally have traded for a lot of your board. They're both useful in their own way.
Change a minion's Health to 1.
Never play 'Hide and Go Seek' with a Hunter.
