Deal 8 damage randomly split among all enemies.

This card is used in
34.58% of all Paladin decks
first for 8 missles at 6 damage each, nice way to decimate your opponent's forces.
The artist credit in-game is actually wrong. This card was illustrated by

Here is the original artwork done for the WoW TCG by Alex, posted to his DeviantArt page back in 2011:
I've submitted this info in the heathstone bug report forum already so that hopefully it'll be fixed before the game leaves beta.
, dead targets from earlier missiles are not valid targets for future missiles. (Source:
The enemy hero counts as a valid enemy target to pick from. The
and minions that are in CAN be hurt by Arcane Missiles.
An enemy target is a valid enemy target (such as enemy hero in
). An Immune target will just receive no damage.
Each missile counts as separate damage, and Avenging Wrath CAN trigger "on taking damage" effects multiple times, such as
Acolyte of Pain
. You might want to be cautious about playing this card if the enemy has such minions in play.
Each point of gives an extra missile, NOT extra damage to each missile.
If you copy a

double the damage per missile.
All eligible targets have an equal chance of being picked, per missile. See

This spell is used very often with
Random effects can still target an Immune Character (for example, Avenging Wrath,
Ragnaros the Firelord
can still target an Immune character randomly, but will deal 0 damage). This is cited to be unintended, specifically for Avenging Wrath. (Source:
It's like a double whammie, but doubled, and also doubled.
When a Priest mindvisions this and plays Velen, the place goes wild. Each missile DOES hit for 2, so you do massive 16 damage for 6 mana. It pretty much is guaranteed to board clear and spill the rest into the hero.
Anyway, this card s extremely important in Paladin decks. It's great for spot removal and weak-AoE alike. It's exceptional against locks due to Blood Imps and various stealthed mobs that Rogues have. Against other paladins or shamans, it'll typically clear out their hero power minions with ease.
Flavor text is probably a reference to song titled

Since this card is epic (hard to get), you can replace it with "Equality" spell.
Great card for paladin late board clearing, just make sure you have minions on your side to back you up next turn!
