This may sound stupid to some of you but be sure to notice the part where your friendly target should be a DEMON, unless you're actually intending to damage your own card. That's definitely a use case for this card, but don't do it by mistake....

You can't target "hero" Jaraxxus with this card, as it's no longer a minion. But if a "minion" Jaraxxus gets created with a card like http://www.hearthhead.com/card=195/mirror-entity, (where the battlecry does not activate) you can target it.

If I can point out the obvious a bit, this card is chiefly good for its versatility. As removal goes it does the same damage as Drain Life for one mana cheaper, but it's going to be pretty lackluster for that purpose in the late game. As a pump it's decent (there aren't a lot of good pump spells that do both health and damage) but it suffers from the same vulnerability to 2-for-1s that other pump spells have. All in all, neither effect is particularly good for its cost, but since you have the option it's usable.
