Golden version unlocked at Priest level 32 and 34
I love the golden version of this. I use two in my shadow priest deck that I have for lolz. The reason I love it so much is that when you use the golden version of mind vision, whatever you copy will come into your hand as a golden card. This lets me see a bunch of golden cards that I otherwise couldn't have!
Hit or miss with this bad boy. Gives you an insight to the opponents hand so you can better counter them
A solid card, though I don't think it's best used early. Rather, I like to hold this until later, after they've blown their normal cards and are typically holding back their game-changers. Have had some hilarious pulls doing that.
This card is not similiar to cards like
by giving you
Shadow of Nothing
when not working properly. So what I'm saying is, if you use this and your opponent has no cards at hand you're just wasting your cards and mana.
A card made for those who can't get any good card in their collection. Stupid. Really stupid. I play a much better priest without this card.
Today, I had a gorgeous match against a Paladin.
I thought: "Hmmm, such card layer, he might have Thirion".
The only funnier thing is that after I stole Tirion, the Paladin surrendered.
I just love this card for randomness and joy it can bring to one's game.
Your opponent does not know which card is copied. However, he can track the card position of the copied card in your hand.
If your opponent has no cards in his hand, Mind Vision copies nothing when played.
If you cast Mind Vision from a full hand of 10 cards, and have a
in play, your hand first goes down to 9 cards, Auctioneer then triggers and draws a card (back to 10 cards), and finally Mind Vision copies nothing since your hand is full.

Game Mechanics of "goldenness"
If you used a non-golden Mind Vision, the "goldenness" of the copied card will follow the "goldenness" of the original card. This may give you a tiny advantage. For example, if you copied a golden
, then witness your opponent playing a non-golden one, he must be running 2 copies of that card in his deck, one golden and one plain; with the golden one still in his hand. For this reason, top players do not mix golden/plain copies of a card in their decks, you either run both copies golden, or both plain.
The copied card is always golden if you used a golden Mind Vision. The original "goldenness" of your opponent's card is irrelevant. This may tip off your opponent as to which card was stolen. For example, if you used a golden Mind Vision, and stole a
, it will be golden. If you play this golden card, your opponent can assume with high probability that it is the stolen card because very few players have unlocked a golden Sen'jin (rewarded at reaching Level 59 with the Rogue hero).
These game mechanics actually make using plain Mind Visions stronger than golden ones. It can be partially fixed by patching it such that plain Mind Visions will always steal plain cards.
You gain insight into his deck on cards that may not have been revealed to you yet.
You CAN copy useless cards. For example,
- the Priest class currently does not have weapons - In this example, it would be useless unless you also copy a Weapon or use
You CAN copy
if you start the game on Turn 1 first. The chance is 20%, since your opponent has not had his Turn 1 yet and will have The Coin in his starting hand along with the other 4 starting cards.
Mind Vision used to actually steal a card from your opponent's hand and costs 6 mana (prior to June 2013 while in Closed Alpha). However, this was too frustrating to play against and it was nerfed.
